It’s time for me to explore more of the country and its stunning islands. Words really fall short when trying to explain the beauty here and the raw feeling of existence within nature that is present with every moment.
Today I flew to Manus island, and I couldn’t believe my eyes on the ride…
After witnessing these breathtaking views on my way to Manus Island, I need to pinch myself.
I am overwhelmed by the beauty of this country, by the purity.
It’s all just so unreal!!
Untouched, undisturbed mother nature in all her generosity and splendor. I will share more images of the jewels I discover now that I have 2 feet back on the ground
It certainly promises to be quite amazing!

Spending More Time on Islands
I really feel like I should be making more of a conscious effort throughout the future to spend more time on islands and near the ocean. There is something so magical about islands, island life, and the various cultures that call islands home around the world.
The proximity not just to water, but to the ocean.
Being able to smell the ocean…experiencing the uplifting ocean breeze… hearing the waves crash into the shore like cymbals in the band of life.
Being next to (or even better in) the ocean is such a powerful experience. Because you can deeply feel the power of the earth, the power of life.
It humbles me, it inspires me, and it begets unique levels of reflection that allow for a deeper appreciation for life.
This kind of beauty in all it’s simplicity is nothing short of divine. Here, since my arrival, I feel deeply connected to nature and to inner self. Breath in, breath out.

Beauty in Simplicity
It is amazing to observe humans who have an early bonding to nature. And that is exactly what I have the honor to observe as an intimate part of my island induction here in Papua New Guinea.
It’s a simple lifestyle here. People are living simple and simply living.

Everybody is outside. Everyday I see the kids playing in the ocean. What a raw and beautiful way to be brought up and to coexist on this planet.
I remember a time when my life was all about playing outside, those were the days (minus the ocean).
So it’s amazing to see young children connecting with the land and loving their simple lives outside being together in the elements surrounded by family and friends.
I see myself in them, even though we grew up on different sides of the planet and in two completely different cultures. This is part of the fabric that connects us as human beings, as living beings.
Smart phones, television, and the entire digital age have changed a lot of things. It’s here that we see how obvious that is…
